Sorry it has been a long time since I have posted anything. It was a busy weekend getting settled. The cable got connected, the mattress showed up, and then the delivery guys from Best Buy showed up to attempt to deliver the washer and dryer. The BB guys were nice enough to come in and make sure everything was going to fit since it is an apartment. Luckily they did because what we had ordered wasn't going to work. So we refused delivery and had to go find another set that would fit. We were fortunate to find one and have it delivered the next day. All we need now is some type of couch because we are sitting in camping chairs to eat and watch TV and it isn't working (That is our task for this weekend).
We are getting familiar with what is around us (i.e. Wal-Mart, Target, Kohls, Chick-Fil-A). We have even found Redboxes to rent cheap movies (as we sit in the uncomfortable camping chairs).
Work is going good for me. I have met a lot of people and I am learning new things daily. The commute is nice but that will probably change next week when everybody goes back to work and school from the Thanksgiving holiday.
Speaking of the Thanksgiving Holiday, Tina and I wanted to wish all of you and your families a Happy Thanksgiving. Whether you watch football, the Macy's Parade or just hang out with family, just have fun and think about the many things you are thankful for.

Hey Strangers - we were getting worried with no posts!
Glad to hear you found a Chick-fil-a and Target, 2 important landmarks no matter where you move to (still trying to find one near OUR house - ha).
This will be the 2nd year in a row I work on Thanksgiving, but we have a compound wide party on Friday afternoon... which gives me the chance to burn a turkey, hang out with friends, and watch recorded football.
Keep the updates coming - especially now that we know you have internet, waffle fries, and camping chairs (what else do you need really)
jess would be so proud that you already found the chik.. congrats on a successful first week at work & have a happy thanksgiving.
i plan to soak in the last few days until i return to work... i'm thankful for the 12 weeks i've had, but i still wish it could be longer! :)
