City Craft in Dallas is one of my favorite places to buy fabric. I go there quite often and the owner is always asking what am I working on so I couldn't pass the chance to show off the little outfit I made for Scooter. Who needs a GIRLS weekend?

Me, me, me! Well I have had a great weekend with some of my favorite girls from Houston. We chatted, relaxed in the hot tub, and took in some shopping therapy at Canton's first Monday trade days. Here are a few pics from the affair:

Work takes an official SNOW DAY

On Thursday our lights went out for about 3 hours during the day and then came back on. Hooray! Around 2am Friday morning the electricity was out again only this time there was no estimated time when it would be back on. (Snow is no fun without a heater to warm you back up from playing.) Later on after feeding and walking the dog we discovered that the roads were frozen and the buses were hit or miss. Work takes an official snow day! Getting colder, and colder in the apartment and yearning for a hot meal we decided later in the afternoon that the roads were mostly melted enough to get out and get something hot to eat. Waiting for the power to come back on we purchased a day pass on the DART rail and rode around town checking out the sites. Here are some pics from our SNOW DAY:

Look at all the snow as it fell. It was really coming down and has not stopped all day!

Scooter loved chasing snow balls. Silly Dog:} Please excuse my video skills. It is hard to video, hold the dog leash, and make and throw snow balls. We had a fun day!
